Hello to all my veggie loving friends,
We are having ourselves a good old fashioned winter, aren’t we? Maybe with this abundant indoor time you’re able to get some good reading done or at least advance a few levels on Candy Crush. Either way, I hope everyone is in good spirits and good health.
Asha Gala is a Nutritional Education Trainer based here in Lebanon Township, NJ. She is also a longtime Stone’s Throw Garden member and supporter. She has been Mark and I’s friend and Coach in teaching us the wonders of whole plant base foods on our health. She is a fantastic and fascinating person.
Asha is having an open house on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 2 to 4pm at her lovely and large home at 15 Windy Heights Rd, Califon, NJ 07830. She promises to include a free health/nutrition education class and a chance to sample foods. For more info and directions: http://ashagala.com. ” No commitments or fees, just tasty, healthy, whole plant-based foods!”
Mark and I will be there and we hope you will be too. I have an abundance of exciting garden news coming very soon.
thank you Nora for spreading the word.
My pleasure! Mark and I are really looking forward to this.
Your picture is beautiful and brings back the wonderful thoughts of Summer and great food. It is also a reminder of the good warm days to come. Glad to hear from u and miss seeing you. I have two commitments for Saturday, it seems to work that way. I have done nothing for months & what a great opportunity to learn about staying healthy. If u do thin again maybe I will be free. Have a nice safe week! Stay warm. Terrie
Nice to hear from you, Terrie. Think warm thoughts and hopefully I’ll see you soon.
I was already thinking about going to this and dragging along Sylvain. I actually studied food & healing for a year in NYC back in the day so this is right up my alley.
Can’t wait to hear what your plans are for this year…
Excellent initiative Nora…Too bad I can not participate but I just signed in Asha website. Yes I am reading and knitting more…Believe it or not I do enjoy the winter. Have a sweet day. Anna Maria Miele
