In a winter where the coldest temperature was 9 degrees F just after Christmas 2011, we have had only 2 or three inches of snow and none stuck more than one day except for the crazy foot of snow that fell on October 30.
The Kale and Collard greens, after slowing from the one cold night and surviving 2 nights of an open gate that let the deer in, have come back and are producing a fair amount of greens.
The brussel sprouts that never matured in during the season have had some weird winter success.
